A great get-ahead dessert that’s just perfect chilled with Marsala.

Ingredients

  • 100g Italian biscotti biscuits, lightly crushed
  • 100ml Marsala or sweet white wine
  • 200g fresh raspberries
  • 568ml carton fresh custard
  • 1tbsp light muscovado sugar

Method

  1. Put biscuits in a bowl, drizzle over Marsala and combine. Leave to soak for 5 mins, then spoon into 6 glasses. Scatter with raspberries, reserving a handful for the top.
  2. Pour over custard. Decorate with reserved raspberries and scatter over the sugar. Chill for up to 2 hours before serving.
