Pile it high for a tasty bite from the good ol' USA

Ingredients

  • 4 slices wholemeal bread
  • Mayonnaise, for spreading
  • 3 slices cooked streaky bacon
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Handful iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 60g premium sliced chicken breast

Method

  1. Spread each slice of bread with a generous layer of mayonnaise. Arrange the bacon on the first slice.
  2. Top with a second slice of bread and layer the tomato and lettuce on top.
  3. Cover with a third slice of bread. Arrange the chicken on top, then add the remaining slice of bread. Cut in half diagonally, serve with a cocktail stick through the middle to hold layers in place.
