Ingredients
- 450g (16oz) green beans, trimmed
- 25g (1oz) butter
- 30g flaked almonds
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Method
- Cook the beans in a pan of lightly salted boiling water for 3 to 4 mins until just tender.
- Melt the butter in a pan and add the almonds. Fry until golden, then add the lemon juice. Drain the beans and mix with the almonds. Season to taste.
