Try this homemade ice cream with tangy marmalade and rich whisky - tastier and better for you than shop bought.

Ingredients

If you don't have an ice cream machine, you can place the mixing bowl in the freezer and whisk every 30 mins until you have the ice cream texture.

  • 120g orange marmalade
  • 20ml malt whisky
  • 150g crème fraiche
  • 250g natural yogurt (full-fat yogurt is best but you can choose low-fat)

Method

  1. Whisk all the ingredients together and place into an ice cream maker and churn until frozen.
  2. Transfer to freezer until needed.
  3. Serve with candied orange peel, fresh mint or your choice of berries, if desired.

Guideline Daily Amount for 2,000 calories per day are: 70g fat, 20g saturated fat, 90g sugar, 6g salt.

    The whisky marmalade ice cream sounds delish, I have friends coming round on Friday, bring a plate of food to share party and I think I've found the pudding, thank you.
