Father's Day recipes

It's Father's Day soon (Sunday 21 June 2009) and if you want to thank dad with something more than a pint in the local or a bar of Toblerone, do it with food!

So, surprise dad this Father's Day with a homemade meal. It doesn't have to be complicated or expensive - we've got loads of great cheap meals and easy recipes for you to choose from.

You could make anything from a hearty breakfast to simple pies (and cheat with shop-bought pastry) or homemade burgers - you'll be surprised at how easy they can be to make. If the weather's good, have a barbecue, just let him take charge of firing it up and turning the meat because blokes love to do that!
