  • Child friendly

Ingredients

For a meat-free option, try sliced mushrooms instead of pepperoni. Ham and pineapple also works just as well. Another time, bake the pitta pizzas instead of grilling them - you?ll need to pre-heat the oven to 200°C /Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6 and they will take about 5 minutes to cook.

  • 4 standard pittas (or 8 mini pittas)
  • 150g tomato pizza sauce
  • 50g pepperoni slices
  • 125g grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Method

  1. Pre-heat the grill.
  2. Arrange the pittas on a baking sheet and spread the pizza sauce evenly over each one. Top with slices of pepperoni, then sprinkle with the grated cheese and oregano.
  3. Grill until melted and bubbling - about 2-3 minutes. Serve at once.
