An easy chicken recipe with a Scottish twist - right down to the whisky sauce!

  • Skill level: Easy peasy

Ingredients

For the whisky sauce:

  • 1 tbsp whisky
  • Chicken gravy granules

Method

  1. Make a slice in the breast of chicken (not right through), put a slice of haggis in the space you create, and wrap the chicken in a rasher of bacon. Secure with a tooth pick if necessary.
  2. Cook at 180ºC for 30 to 40 minutes and serve with the whisky sauce.
  3. To make the whisky sauce, just add 1 tbsp of whisky to a chicken-flavoured sauce (for example, gravy made from chicken gravy granules, although ensure it's not too thick).
