This decadent heart-shaped pudding is the perfect sweetener for this Valentine's Day.

Ingredients

  • Ready-rolled puff pastry
  • Egg, beaten
  • Crème fraiche
  • Strawberries, sliced (or fruit of your choice)
  • Chocolate, melted
  • Heart-shaped cutter (downloadable from Jus Rol's website)

Method

  1. Unroll a sheet of ready-rolled puff pastry and cut out two hearts.
  2. Prick and brush with beaten egg then sprinkle lightly with sugar.
  3. Pop into the oven on a baking tray for 10 mins until golden brown then leave to cool.
  4. Slice each heart through the middle! Spread crème fraiche on one side, drop on a few sliced strawberries (or whatever takes your fancy), pop the other half on top and drizzle with melted chocolate.
