Use your favourite fruits to make these colourful kebabs, an easy way to boost your five a day.

Ingredients

Swap the suggested fruit for whatever you like best, and for a real treat add some toffee or strawberry sauce too.

  • Ripe peach, stone removed and cut into large chunks
  • Black and green grapes
  • Pineapple, skin removed and cut into large chunks
  • Strawberries, hulled
  • Kiwi, peeled and cut into thick slices
  • Bamboo skewers
  • 1 bottle of ready-made chocolate sauce

Method

  1. Wash and prepare fruits.
  2. Thread a mixture of the fruits onto bamboo sticks. Place the kebabs into a shallow plastic picnic box, cover and chill until required.
  3. Just before serving drizzle the fruit kebabs with a little of the cold chocolate sauce, serve immediately.
