What's my recipe book?


We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

But we've solved the problem. Now, by clicking 'Save this recipe' or 'I cooked this' on any of our recipes, they'll be saved and grouped into your personal online recipe book. This delicious melting cheesy starter is perfect for any dinner party but even better on a romantic night in for two. Just watch you don't lose your bread in the Stilton!


  • 200ml (7fl oz) medium cider
  • 150g (5oz) Stilton cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • A few chopped chives

To serve:

  • 2 bagels, halved and toasted
  • A few thick celery and carrots sticks


  1. Pour cider into a pan, cook over a high heat until reduced by about a third
  2. Crumble in the Stilton and whisk until melted
  3. Mix the cornflour with 2 tablespoons cold water in a small bowl to make a paste, then stir into the pan
  4. Bring just to the boil to thicken the fondue
  5. Serve in the pan or transfer to a hot serving bowl
  6. Sprinkle with chives
  7. Serve with toasted bagel and the vegetable sticks.
