Your hassle-free one-month meal planner: week four

(16 ratings)
Macaroni cheese with artichoke recipe from Economy Gastronomy

Economy Gastronomy's Paul Merrett says: Always have a roll of clingfilm handy to wrap up leftovers. Cheese prefers tin foil, and wrapping fresh herbs or lettuce in a clean, damp cloth prolongs their quality.

In week four, cook a couple of lamb shoulder joints on Sunday and they'll triple up for a Monday night pie and a Tuesday curry.

First, read through and print your week four shopping list.

Here are your recipes for the week...

Sunday
Lunch:
Slow roast shoulder of lamb
Dinner: Pepper and parsnip soup with zest of orange
Dessert: Apple strudel
Monday dinner: Lamb, leek and potato pie with rosemary pastry
Tuesday dinner: Lamb Dhansak
Wednesday dinner: Macaroni cheese with artichoke hearts (pictured)
Thursday dinner: Smoked haddock with bacon and roasted cherry tomatoes
Friday dinner: Sun-dried tomato and sausage linguine
Saturday
Lunch:
Roasted red pepper and Red Leicester strudel
Dinner: Fish and chips

Is there a reason for not including a Shopping List to the April issure Monthly Meal Planner? I have got to say, it is because of the Monthly Meal Planner and its Shopping List is why I have subscribed to this magazine. Thhis freature makes the magazine stand out as it is a helpful resource as I have found that I can use the recommended ingredients to make other meals rather than the ones suggested. I ask can you please keep this feature.
