Who knew making biscuits could be so simple? All you need is four ingredients and 20 spare minutes...

  • 115g softened butter
  • cup (85g) brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 cup (175g) self raising flour

These caramel biscuits will keep really well in a tin for up to a week (if you can resist for that long!)

  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add syrup and beat until fluffy.
  2. Mix in flour until texture is such that you are able to roll into balls.
  3. Place on a paper lined baking tray and allow for spreading, press each gently with a fork and bake in oven for 15 mins.

4 Ingredients, the book, is available to buy (RRP 8.99 paperback Amazon price 5.49).

These are delicious! I made them with brown splenda sugar and low fat marg to make them a little less unhealthy! Going back to make some more now as I don't think these will last very long! :D

Just made these....yummmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Will try with choc bits next time.

These are amazing and so easy to make - which is quite a bad thing, as I'm going to be baking them and eating them non-stop from now on!

I made these last night and they didnt survive until the morning. lovely biscuits with just the right amount of sweetness. These will be a staple food in my biscuit tin!

I've already made them several times and it's always a success - made them yesterday at a kids birthday party and they loved them! and it's so easy to make! I would also advice to dubble up the portion size for a party!
