We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

But we've solved the problem. Now, by clicking 'Save this recipe' or 'I cooked this' on any of our recipes, they'll be saved and grouped into your personal online recipe book. Who knew making biscuits could be so simple? All you need is four ingredients and 20 spare minutes...

Ingredients

  • 115g softened butter
  • cup (85g) brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 cup (175g) self raising flour

These caramel biscuits will keep really well in a tin for up to a week (if you can resist for that long!)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add syrup and beat until fluffy.
  2. Mix in flour until texture is such that you are able to roll into balls.
  3. Place on a paper lined baking tray and allow for spreading, press each gently with a fork and bake in oven for 15 mins.
