What's my recipe book?


We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

But we've solved the problem. Now, by clicking 'Save this recipe' or 'I cooked this' on any of our recipes, they'll be saved and grouped into your personal online recipe book. All you have to do is log in with your Facebook account to see them. If your kids are big Gruffalo fans, make them this chocolatey owl ice cream - it's the Gruffalo's favourite dish after all!


  • Chocolate ice cream
  • 4 chocolate fingers
  • Pack of chocolate flakes
  • 2 white chocolate buttons
  • Small wafer

Use your favourite chocolate bars to make our brilliant chocolate recipes


  1. Use two scoops of chocolate ice cream, one larger for the body and one smaller for the head.
  2. Cover the ice cream with chocolate flakes.
  3. Use chocolate fingers for the wings.
  4. Pop two chocolate buttons on the head to represent each eye and a small wafer for the nose.

The Gruffalo is released on DVD on 22 March 2010.
