  • 6 lemons
  • 2 limes
  • 200g sugar


  1. Using a vegetable peeler, remove the zest from 6 lemons and 2 limes and put in a large jug. Juice all the lemons and limes into the jug and add 200g sugar. Pour over 1.5 litres hot water and stir. Cover, leave to cool, then chill. Sieve into a serving jug. Pour over ice to serve and add extra slices of lemon and lime.

I like this recipe the most, because of the busy time of a BBQ, it is easy to make in advance to have ready for guests arrival! And it would definitely quench my thirst rather than an alcoholic drink, being pregnant! And still looks like it could be alcoholic, so wouldn't feel to left out amongst other guests!
