We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

When piping the swirl, start at the outside, and pipe in towards the centre.


  1. Have your cupcakes ready.
  2. Fill the piping bag with the buttercream and pipe a swirl on the top of each cake.
  3. Cut the chocolate bars in half and stick one piece into the buttercream on the individual cakes.

Bake the cakes in flat bottomed ice cream cones - they look more like real 99 ice creams.
