What's my recipe book?

We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

But we've solved the problem. Now, by clicking 'Save this recipe' or 'I cooked this' on any of our recipes, they'll be saved and grouped into your personal online recipe book. All you have to do is log in with your Facebook account to see them. When you click either of these buttons it will also tell your friends on Facebook what you've been cooking or saving so they too can give our quick and easy recipes a go (but you can turn this off at any time by visiting your 'My recipe book' page). goodtoknow user Alma Obregón posted a picture of her vanilla cupcakes with chocolate cream cheese frosting on our Facebook page and we begged her for the recipe. Now you can make these delicious cupcakes too!

  • 200g butter
  • 200g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs

For the icing:

  • 1 tbsp Nutella
  • 125g cream cheese
  • 50g butter
  • 300g icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

  1. In a bowl whisk together the flour and baking powder. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs beating well after each addition. Then add the vanilla extract, the flour and baking powder and mix.
  2. Fill the cupcake cases (up to 3/4 of each case) and bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
  3. To make the icing, beat all ingredients together until fluffy. Once cool, decorate cupcakes with a piping bag and marzipan roses.
