Sometimes you just need a lunch that you get on the table within 5 minutes, like this tuna and tomato pasta, without the worry about complicated ingredients or methods.
This tuna and tomato salsa recipe is perfect for that. Whether you're working from home or looking for something a bit different to pack into the kids' lunch boxes, this pasta recipe is so simple it will be loved even by the fussiest eaters.
The capers might be a step too far for the little ones with their salty after-taste but for adults, they add a little punch to the flavour. Or if they're not your thing, swap them out for other stock favourites like olives - black or green, you choose!
Ingredients
- 150g (5oz) pasta bows
- 230g pot fresh tomato salsa
- 130g can tuna, drained
- 2 teaspoons capers
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

Method
- Cook the pasta bows in boiling, salted water for 10 mins until al dente.
- Drain and stir in the tomato salsa, tuna, capers and balsamic vinegar. Season.
