Kids and adults alike will love this creamy vanilla milkshake. For a chocolate version replace the vanilla ice cream with chocolate ice cream and add a drizzle of chocolate sauce. For a strawberry or banana milkshake just add some freshly chopped ripe fruit before blending. Choose a good quality soft scoop ice cream for the best results and chill the glasses in the fridge for about 30 mins before making the milkshake


  • 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 400ml milk
  • Few drops vanilla extract

Swirl strawberry or raspberry sauce around the inside of the chilled glasses before adding the milkshake for a lovely rippled effect and extra fruity flavour.


  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into chilled tall glasses and serve immediately.
