Persian lamb skewers
- 300g minced lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 large courgette, coursely grated
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper
Soak the sticks in water for 30 minutes before you cook them as it'll stop them from burning
- Mix lamb with onion, courgette, breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, cumin, egg and plenty of salt and pepper. Mix together with your hand.
- Divide into 12 portions. Shape each around a skewer.
- Grill for 15-20 mins.
- Serve with a yogurt dip and toasted pittas.
