Woman's Weekly recipe These Persion lamb skewers are delicious and the breadcrumbs added to the marinade give that extra crunch and a tasty quick snack

Ingredients

  • 300g minced lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large courgette, coursely grated
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper

Soak the sticks in water for 30 minutes before you cook them as it'll stop them from burning

Method

  1. Mix lamb with onion, courgette, breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, cumin, egg and plenty of salt and pepper. Mix together with your hand.
  2. Divide into 12 portions. Shape each around a skewer.
  3. Grill for 15-20 mins.
  4. Serve with a yogurt dip and toasted pittas.
