We know what it's like when you're browsing a site with as many recipes as ours. You find a brilliant recipe, want to make it again, but can't remember how you found it!

If there was ever a time that our bodies needed to detox, the New Year would be it. Packed with vitamins and essential minerals, this recipe is perfect for restoring the balance after the busy festive season. A colourful glass of this sunshine juice will revitalise and boost your energy levels. What better way to start the day! Any leftover carrot juice, can be frozen in an ice cube tray so next time you make this you wonít need to use any ice.

Ingredients

  • 250ml fresh carrot juice
  • 250ml orange juice
  • 1 green apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 2tsps freshly grated ginger
  • 1tbsp honey
  • Handful of ice cubes

If you canít find carrot juice in the supermarkets, but you have a juicer setting on your blender, then juice some fresh carrots instead.

Method

  1. Blitz all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.
