Mustard and Parmesan popcorn

Whether snuggled up in front of the telly watching a movie or dotted around the party in bowls as nibbles for guests, popcorn always goes down well. Traditionally the choice is between butter, salted or sweet but we’ve added some extra flavours to turn this humble corn into a showstopper of a snack.
- 1 pack of microwavable all butter popcorn
- 50g Parmesan, grated
- 2tbsp wholegrain mustard
If you want to spice this up a bit, swap the wholegrain for English mustard instead.
- Follow the packet instructions and cook the popcorn in the microwave. Once ready, empty onto a large baking try.
- Sprinkle over the Parmesan and dollop the mustard, then use your hands to make sure everything is evenly coated.
- Pop the try under the grill so that the cheese begins to melt. Check after a few minutes and toss the popcorn around before grilling it for a final few more minutes. Serve hot.
