This variation of apple cake is made with a thick dough which is pressed into the tin. Covered with sweet apple and cinnamon, it has a warm fruity flavor throughout. It only takes 15 mins to prepare and 1hr to bake and is well worth the wait. It costs hardly anything to make and is ideal served with lashing of cream or homemade custard for the perfect finish.
