This festive popcorn and cranberry tinsel decoration is really easy to make. All you have to do is thread popcorn and cranberries onto a string to make your very own edible tinsel - it really is that simple. You could drizzle in melted chocolate and dust with festive sugar sprinkles for an even more impressive finish.

  • Dried cranberries

  • Thread
  • A large needle

Method

  1. Measure out a long piece of string and then thread the string into the needle.
  2. Thread a piece of popcorn pushing the needle through the centre of the popcorn until it pokes out the other side. Use the same technique for the cranberries too.
  3. Continue to thread the popcorn and cranberries one at the time onto the thread. Once you've filled the whole piece of string with popcorn and cranberries its time to decorate your tree.
