They're shaking things up this Christmas by creating the two-part festive special to replace Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood's Christmas master-classes, which will air on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
From the looks of the trailer, there's plenty of drama, as Chetna Makan accuses James Morton of 'cheating' after he reportedly struggles to create a plaited loaf and ends up 'borrowing' some ideas from her design instead.
The show will first air on Christmas Day at 4.45pm - perfect timing after your hearty roast dinner, and the second helping of our favourite show will air on Boxing Day at 7pm.
Our two favourite presenters (sorry Ant and Dec!) Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc will host The Great British Bake Off 2016 Christmas special plus each programme will feature four favourite GBBO past contestants.
The line-up has been revealed to include some of our favourites from previous years. The Christmas Day episode will see Ali (series 4), Cathryn (series 3), Norman (series 5) and Mary-Anne (series two), battle it out in the iconic Bake Off tent.
The Boxing Day episode will feature Chetna (series 4), James (series 3), Janet (series 2) and Howard (series 4). We can't wait!
The BBC's tease for the episode says: 'It is time for some of The Great British Bake Off's memorable past contestants to dig out their pinnies and re-enter the famous tent armed with their best festive recipes, as The Great Christmas Bake Off makes mouths water with its final ever episodes on the BBC.'
The Great British Bake Off is by far one of the most popular reality TV shows to date, with last year's series drawing in a whopping 15 million viewers - it's no wonder they're raising the stakes for Christmas this year.
Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC content, said: 'What a treat to bring two Great British Bake Off specials to BBC One this Christmas. Mary, Paul, Mel and Sue are the perfect recipe for the festive season.'
The contestants will compete against each other (just like old times!) making festive cakes, breads and biscuits in order to impress Mary and Paul all over again.
We can't wait to see some of our favourite past contestants back on our screens this year - Christmas couldn't come sooner.
