These adult-only mulled wine slushies will really make you feel like its Christmas. They're so easy to make, taking our favourite festive drink and mixing it with Amaretto and orange juice as well as some spices too, and plenty of ice for a delicious frozen cocktail. This recipe makes 10 slushies in total - great for Christmas parties or if you have a large family. It will take only 10 mins to whip up these festive drinks too. Once you've made these, you'll never want mulled wine the classic way again. It's all about the slush! We've served ours up in short glasses for a modern feel but you can use whatever shape tumblers you have, or even go classic and serve these slushies up in nice big wine glasses. Because these are chilly (for obvious) reasons they work well when you're sitting inside where it's warm and cosy. If you want to make similar drinks for the kids then you could use a mix of cranberry juices and serve them up in the same way so they feel included.

This cocktail is best made and served on the same day.
