McDonald's festive menu
It's that time of year, and McDonald's are totally on board with the seasonal cheer as they've just announced their festive menu – it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

McDonald's have done us all a favour and given us at least six weeks to enjoy their Christmassy offerings.

And fans have taken to Twitter to show their excitement.

One posted: 'All I want is the festive menu to be on sale in Mcdonalds', while another wrote: 'Mcdonald's festive cheese bites are back. HE KNOWS. Today is a really good day.'

A third fan posted: 'Time for my annual appreciation tweet of McDonalds festive cheese melt dippers.. love u'

While love was shown for McDonalds festive menu on social media, the festive pie is being sorely missed. The mincemeat and custard classic was a fan favourite in 2015 but sadly won't be back on the menu.

However, McDonald's have another exciting treat for us this year - introducing Cheese Melt Dippers with a twist.

The treat has been around before but 2017 sees them ditching the standard mozzarella for something a little more Christmassy - Camembert-filled dippers.

The 'deliciously indulgent dippers' are filled with melted Camembert and served with a festive tomato dip. Though if you order them to go you could always swap the dip for some cranberry sauce.

On the dessert side, the fast food chain also have some news. If there's one thing to be found at the bottom of a Christmas stocking it's a Terry's Chocolate orange, and McDonald's are giving us another way to enjoy the festive treat.

The restaurant will be selling Terry's Chocolate Orange McFlurry - a Christmas classic with a twist, with Terry's Chocolate Orange pieces swirled in real dairy ice cream.

And if you need to keep those hands warm through the Christmas period, their Christmas in a cup might be a good shout.

A shot of espresso with spiced cookie flavour syrup, topped with a swirl of cream and a sprinkle of spiced sugar dusting - yum.
