This classic cocktail, Black Russian, takes its name from the black coffee and vodka which make it. Perfect for an after-dinner cocktail or a Christmas Day treat!
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 3/4oz coffee liqueur
- Crushed ice
Mix the vodka and coffee liqueur in a cocktail shaker with some ice.
Shake for at least 30 seconds to combine the flavours and allow the ice to melt.
Remove the end of the shaker so the drink can pour out, but not the ice.
Pour your Black Russian into a chilled Martini glass and enjoy!
To make a Black Magic, just add lemon juice.
