This maple and pecan white chocolate tiffin uses a classic flavour combination of maple and pecan, all smothered in decadent white chocolate. It’s delicious and moreish and easy to make too. It only takes 15 mins to make which means you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it with the kids. The chocolate digestive biscuits and the pecan nut combo work really well together to give this tasty treat a real bite.
Ingredients
- 200g chocolate digestive biscuits
- 100g chopped pecan nuts
- 100g butter or margarine
- 2tbsp maple syrup
- 2tbsp hot chocolate powder
- 1tsp light brown sugar
- 400g white chocolate

Method
- Grease a 20cm square tin and place the digestives into a plastic sandwich bag and crush with a rolling pin. You want a variety of large chunks and fine crumbs
- Pour into a large mixing bowl and stir through the chopped pecans
- In a saucepan gently heat the butter, maple syrup, hot chocolate powder and sugar, stirring continuously until the butter has melted
- Pour the butter mix over the digestives and pecans and stir until well combined. Press the mix into the bottom of the tin
- Break the chocolate into a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water
- Stir continuously until all the chocolate has melted
- Pour the chocolate over the mixture in the tin. Leave to set before turning out and cutting into squares
