Just remember, once frozen, thawed, ripe bananas will turn blackish. They are still GOOD! Just use for baking muffins, cakes or use in pancakes. It's best to peel the bananas BEFORE freezing, placing them in a freezer bag in a single layer. Freeze with the bags laying down flat, then after they freeze you can stand the bags up, side by side. Freezing in a single layer makes it easier to remove one banana at a time for smoothies. IF you are going to freeze with the skins on, make sure bananas are washed first, to remove any bacteria.
