Matching cards
This is such a simple game that is great for selling cakes and bakes quickly as you can keep topping up each card over and over again.
You will need: 2 packs of playing cards.
How to play: Lay one pack of cards down on the table face up and pop a cupcake, flapcake or sweet treat onto each card. Get each of your customers to choose a card from your second pack of playing cards keeping them face down. Once they've chosen their card you match it to the ones on the table and whatever baked good it has on top, they win!
How much to charge: 50p-£1
Treasure hunt
The kids are going to love this bake sale game, especially if you're throwing it in a school! If you're super organised, you could keep the kids entertained for hours.
You will need: Cards for the clues and a 'treasure' prize. The treasure? A tray of freshly baked cupcakes should do the trick - or shop-bought chocolate coins! You could even theme your cupcakes like these pirate cupcakes and turn into a real treasure hunt.
How to play: Give each group of kids a card that has a clue and get them to work together to find the next clue. You could have a few different cards and lots of different hiding places.

Get everyone guessing with this fun bake sale game - adults can join in too! Fill a large jar full of sweeties or chocolate goodies - just make sure you remember to write down exactly how many are in there!
You will need: Sweets and a large jar
How to play: Each person has to write down their name and mobile number/email address saying how many sweets they think are in the jar - the person who guesses correctly will win the whole jar of sweets or an extra special cake for the whole family.
You could announce the winner at the end of the bake sale, this is a great way to keep your customers for longer, or you could contact the winner via text/email and arrange a time and place for them to collect their prize.

Pop the balloons
This is a great game for both kids and adults - but make sure each kid is supervised while playing it.
You will need: 3 darts - slightly blunt or old ones are better - and plenty of balloons.
How to play: Fill each balloon with a piece of paper before blowing it up. On each piece of paper write a number between 1-10. One another sheet of paper, which you will keep, write the numbers 1-10 and match a different bake with each for example the number 2 = flapjacks.
Have a large pin board up against a wall at a far enough distance and attach balloons to the wall - the more the better! Let each player throw 3 darts at the balloons - when they burst one, they win a prize. All you have to do is match the numbers, for example the number 5 = a chocolate brownie slice - it's that easy!

Hmmm... what's in the safe? This is a great guessing game that will keep your bake sale buyers entertained. Pack your safe full of gift-wrapped baked goodies or one giant cupcake and leave everyone guessing the code.
You will need: A safe and a large prize inside
How to play: Set a code for the safe and let your customers guess the code. The person who gets the code right wins the whole entire contents of the safe!

Ring around the bottles
Toss the hoop over the bottle neck to win - it really is that simple! Great fun for both kids and adults too!
You will need: Round up 10 water bottles and 3 hoops for this game. You can buy mini plastic hoopla rings online or in most kids' stores.
How to play: Each player has to toss a hoop over a bottle to win. Each bottle could have a different coloured top which will match to a different prize or if you want to keep it simple, once the player hoops a bottle they win a sweet goodie!

Tombola
Set up a tombola - it's simple and a great way to sell a lot of bakes in one go!
You will need: Two packs of tickets - or special raffle tickets. One will be the ticket that you give to your customers the other will be folded and added to the tombola - if you don't have a tombola machine you could use a large bin, bag or jar depending on how many people enter.
How to play: Choose 3 prizes - bronze, silver and gold winners and display the prizes on the table for all your players to see. Make sure your gold prize is large and impressive like a giant cupcake or a two-tiered bake.
Spin the tombola round and pick out the winning 3 numbers - whoever has the numbers wins the prizes!
How much to charge: You could charge 50p-£1 per ticket depending on how much each prize costs.
Ball in the jar
This is great game for getting your bake sale customers to practise their aim!
You will need: Ping pong balls (extra in case you loose any!) and 3+ jars.
How to play: Set up a group of open top jars at a far enough distance and get each person to throw a ping pong ball into the jar - if it gets into the jar, they win!
You could make it easy and give them 3 balls and 3 jars or you could give them just 1 ball and 3 jars - it's up to you. The more bakes you want to shift, the more balls you'll need to give your players.

Knock down the tin cans
If you're hosting a bake sale in school, they'll be plenty of beanbags in the P.E. department that you might be able to borrow for this game.
You will need: Beanbags and 12 tinned cans
How to play: Stack up some tinned cans and let your customers throw a bean bag to knock them down. If they knock them all down they win a sweet prize - it really is that simple.

Hook the duck
The kids are going to love this game. It's fun, easy to set up and guarantees prizes every time!
You will need: Rubber ducks with hooks attached, a paddling pool, a large wooden stick with a hook on the end and some coloured stickers.
How to play: You could attach the hooks to each rubber duck yourself, otherwise you can buy them already made up in party shops or online. Put a different coloured sticker underneath each duck. When the players hook a duck, they can match the colour with a different cake or bake - you can decide which colours match which bakes, for example green = a slice of rocky road.

Hide the cards in the sawdust or shredded paper and let your customers pick out a card to win. Have a variety of bakes on display so your players can see what they could win if they're lucky!

You will need: Two packs of raffle tickets for this game, one for labelling and one for folding and putting in a basket.
How to play: Label each of your bakes with a raffle ticket - you could raffle boxes of cakes, large cakes, mini ones, tray bakes, chocolate goodie bags - whatever you fancy! Add in some extra tickets that are not on the table too so not everyone wins and hopefully this will encourage them to buy more tickets.
Match the raffle tickets with the tickets on the table - if it matches one then they win that prize - it's that simple!

Name the teddy bear
This is a great one for the kids - name the teddy bear. Give the teddy bear a name like Alfred, Sophie or whatever tickles your fancy and write it down on a piece of paper and hide the piece of paper away until someone guesses it right.
You will need: A teddy bear and prizes.
How to play: Ask people to guess the name of the teddy bear - if they're right they win a prize. They could win the teddy bear if you want it to be a one off game, or they could win some gift-wrapped cupcakes.
