We love this position - it may not be the most visually exciting, but physically I think it's a tie for 2nd favorite. it's EASY to do (so, yeah, great when you're both tired) but give both people GREAT contact, especially since I think we're turned more/entwined more than the picture shows - he's rubbing/caressing/kissing my leg that runs up his chest, I'm grinding against his leg that's in front of me, so good deep penetration (which is painful for me in some other positions) especially since he's kinda large, easy to move around since nobody's supporting anyone, and great clitoral stimulation too. Easiest way to describe how we do it is...form a "v" with each hand, using index & middle fingers; bring your hands together to form a "diamond" shape; rotate one hand 90 degrees and slide them together til the "web" of your fingers meet.
