Mikey, who is best known for playing Gary Windass in the ITV soap, tied the knot on Friday 29th January at an intimate countryside venue - Curradine Barns in Shrawley, Worcestershire.
The Scarborough-born actor revealed to OK! magazine that finding the venue was the easiest part of the planning, saying; 'It was the first place that we saw. It was perfect and we knew that we didn't need to see anywhere else.'
The loved-up pair met in a bar in Manchester in 2013 and Mikey finally got down on one knee during a weekend mini-break to the Lake District last year.
Rachael explained that after the engagement she wasted no time in beginning to plan her dream day; 'I started trying on dresses as soon as I had the engagement ring on my finger!'
There were over 100 guests watching the pair walk down the aisle, including some famous faces from the cobbles - Bruno Langley, who plays Todd Grimshaw, and Sam Ashton, who plays Chesney Brown.
The 29-year-old actor also chose Ian Puleston-Davis, who plays his on-screen stepfather Owen Armstrong, as his best man.

Despite having Ian by his side, Mikey was unable to control his emotions on the big day, admitting; 'Rachael looked amazing. I'm known for letting my emotions run away with me, so I was really concentrating on trying not to cry.'
Mikey has previously said that Rachael was the 'best thing that ever happened' to him and it seems the pressure of the big take took its toll in an unexpected way.
Rachael revealed; 'Mikey has been sleepwalking a little bit more these days!'
Although the big day went off without a hitch, Mikey's stag do was a little more dramatic. The Rovers Return regular took 10 friends on a lad's holiday to Prague and ended up getting a little more than be bargained for.
He said; 'I did end up getting spanked by a stripper/dancer with my own belt. She pulled my pants down in front of half of the Czech Republic and I had strap marks all over my rear end!'
