Home and Away star Esther Anderson reveals she's engaged to boyfriend of 15 months
And the way he popped the question was SO romantic...
Home and Away star Esther Anderson has announced the lovely news of her engagement to English boyfriend Howard Moggs.
Speaking to New Idea magazine, the 36-year-old actress spilled the beans on how Howard popped the question.
The couple, who started dating just over a year ago and live together in Los Angeles, were having a romantic night in their new home on Valentine's Day.
Howard got down on one knee in the back garden, after suggesting they go there to sip champagne at sunset.
'I thought it was a lovely way to celebrate our new home but suddenly he was down on one knee asking me to marry him,' she explains. 'I didn't see it coming at... I was speechless until I realised I hadn't said "yes".'
In the same interview, the Australian actress also revealed children are definitely on the couple's cards for the future.
'Oh yes. We both definitely want them [children]. It's the first thing our families asked about. But woah - we just want to enjoy being engaged for now.'

Esther's fiancé Howard also gushed about his soon-to-be wife, saying she is 'incredible'.
'In LA, there are lots and lots of really beautiful people, but they often have their own agenda', Howard said. 'Esther is a super-sweet, honest person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I really am the luckiest man in the world. She is incredible.'
And luckily the feeling is mutual. Posting about their engagement announcement, Esther also did some gushing of her own on Instagram: 'Howard has made me the happiest girl in the world!!! On cloud 9 ever since my love, my best friend, and soul mate asked me to marry him!!!! I love you Howy'.
The couple spent the holidays together in the UK
The Aussie is best known for playing resident policewoman Charlie Buckton on Australian soap Home and Away. She was part of the show from 2008 until 2012, when her character was killed off.
Esther then moved to the US, where she later met her now future husband.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
