Team GB's golden couple have won an impressive ten gold medals between them and are known for being the most successful Olympic couple yet. But on Saturday 24th September they made it official and wed at the 17th Century Hilltop Country House in Cheshire.
The athletic pair had kept quiet about any details of the wedding, keeping the date and location secret until after the big day had happened. Now both Laura, 24, and Jason, 28, have taken to social media to share the happy news.
Track and road cyclist Laura posted to her Instagram account with a beautiful picture from her wedding day, showing off her lace illusion neckline wedding dress standing with her husband, bridesmaids and page boy.
In her caption she referred to her wedding as the 'happiest day of my life', writing, '24.09.16 The happiest day of my life. With all my family and close friends I married my best friend. We had the most amazing day and I'm so pleased to finally be able call Jason my Husband 😊 Instead of gifts we had a charity wish. If anybody would like to contribute at all the links in my bio 😘 x'
