Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine marries partner Chris Farr in secret ceremony

Congratulations to the lovely pair!

Jennie McAlpine has taken to social media to confirm her marriage to long-term partner Chris Farr.

Christmas may be over, but Jennie McAlpine still has lots of celebrating to do, as she has revealed that she tied the knot to her long-term partner Chris Farr earlier this month.

Known for her long-time role in Coronation Street as Fizz, the actress took to Twitter to tell fans her happy news. She tweeted a picture showing off her and her husband's wedding rings to her 260k followers.

Jennie tweeted the gorgeous picture on 6th January, showing the couple's hands resting on each other - clearly displaying their wedding rings. The pair opted for a traditional, classic style of matching plain, gold bands which Jennie complimented with a sophisticated nude manicure.

With a vase of pretty white flowers and romantic candle light in the background, it looked like the love birds were thoroughly enjoying married life already.

Alongside the picture the 32 year old wrote,'So, we went to Trafford Town Hall earlier this week and had a bit of a special day ❤️'.
