Jeremy Kyle confirms his engagement to Vicky Burton

The TV presenter announced the happy news while hosting Good Morning Britain

Jeremy Kyle has confirmed that he's set to marry Vicky Burton, after engagement rumours emerged last week.

The TV presenter made the revelation while appearing on breakfast show Good Morning Britain.

Responding to the engagement rumours that started swirling around last week after his fiancée was spotted with wearing an engagement ring, he said: 'All I did was get engaged, it's very nice and I'm very happy.

'I've just done the most romantic thing which is to present a beautiful lady with a ring.'

The 52-year-old is thought to have asked for his children's former nanny's hand in marriage when the duo were enjoying a sun-drenched holidaying in the Grenadines Islands.

It's since been reported that the loved-up couple are planning to exchange vows in Barbados.

Despite having only recently popped the question to Vicky, Jeremy went on to admit that he and his new fiancée aren't going to be doing anything special to celebrate their love on 14 February.

He's currently acting as a stand-in host for Good Morning Britain regular Piers Morgan, who is busy shooting his latest Serial Killer series, and the job requires Jeremy to set a very early alarm each morning.

'It's not going to be that romantic for any of us, we have to get up at 2.30am,' he quipped.

Jeremy confirmed that he was 'happy' in a relationship with Vicky last year, following the end of his marriage to Carla Germaine.

'I'm very happy, thank you very much,' he opened up during an appearance on Loose Women.

'New relationship, new chapter, thank you very much. Let's get on with our lives.'

Jeremy and Carla said 'I do' in 2002 but decided to part ways in 2015. Their divorce was granted in February 2016.

The pair have three kids together - two daughter named Ava and Alice and a son called Henry.

Before tying the knot with Carla, Jeremy was married to Kirsty Rowley.
