Ella Henderson has spoken out after being voted off the X Factor in a surprise sing-off against James Arthur.
The 16-year-old singer was placed in the bottom two alongside fellow favourite James after they received the fewest public votes. She then left the show after the judges failed to chose between them and the vote went to deadlock.
‘I need u to all stay with me and support me … Cannot wait till the Xfactor tour… And this is just the beginning!’ the singer Tweeted after the show.
‘Just wanna say what an amazing mentor I had! A true friend for life!! @officialtulisa THANK YOU. U brought the female boss out of me!’ she said about her mentor Tulisa, who was less than happy with the choice of the bottom two.

‘This is exactly when people are voting for the wrong people,’ Tulisa said on the show. ‘These people should be finalists.
‘This is ridiculous. My decision (to send home) is James, even though I love him to death. I shouldn’t have to make this decision tonight.’
There were boos from the crowd as Christopher Maloney and Rylan Clark made it into the quarter-finals over these two popular contestants.
