Paul Gascoigne has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act following his arrest on Wednesday at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead.
The former England star – known as Gazza had earlier been a guest at the Malmaison Hotel where it is alleged he grabbed a night porter by the neck and set off fire alarms.
The Sun reports that Gazza had been holed up in his room with battery-operated parrots which he’d programmed to say ‘F*ck off’ to other hotel guests.
