Battling anorexia

Adult Anorexia
Average rating:
3 out of 5 star rating (210 ratings)
If you suspect someone of being anorexic, don't accuse them of it outright. Approach the subject by starting your sentences with 'I'. For example, I'm worried about you because I've noticed that you've not been very happy lately.' It stops them from getting defensive and makes it more likely they'll turn to you for help.
Tina Farmery, 46, Hove, East Sussex

My daughter had anorexia for years, but even during it I persuaded her to take multi-vitamins to make up for some of the goodness she was missing from food. I used Holland and Barrett's Chewable Multi-vitamin Tablets, £3.99 for 60 tablets.
Miranda Tait, 54, Rochdale, Lancashire
