On this plan you can have a glass of wine with your dinner every now and then.

There are lots of reasons why we shouldn't drink alcohol. It can stop us digesting food properly, makes us crave carbs and can weaken our will power once the cravings kick in.

BUT - the reality is that most of us like a drink from time to time and aren't prepared to give it up entirely. So, the plan suggests we limit our intake to weekends and Wednesdays, giving our bodies a chance to get it out of our system and help stop us feeling deprived as our next drink is always only three days away!
