Every meal and snack needs to contain protein, fat and carbohydrate.

Breakfasts
  • One or two eggs, poached, scrambled or boiled with wholemeal or rye toast
  • Smoothie made with live natural plain yoghurt, pear, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and a little apple juice
  • Rye toast with houmous

Lunches
  • Baked potato with beans and a large mixed salad
  • Grilled tofu or egg with large salad that contains at least five different vegetables and some crusty bread
  • Sandwich over-filled with tuna salad or chicken

Dinners

Morning and early afternoon snacks
  • Apple or pear with a small piece of hard cheese
  • Peanut butter on rice cakes
  • Cottage cheese on corn cakes

Early evening snacks
  • Live natural plain yoghurt with mixed seeds
  • An apple and some Brazil nuts
  • Hard cheese and sliced vegetables
