What's Don't Want To Miss A Thing about? From start to finish, the world of Dexter Yates comes alive. His love of having fun, being totally care-free and living a luxury life ends up being too good to be true when his sister sadly passes away. His world is turned upside down and he's left in charge of his 8-month-year old niece, Delphi. Of course, Dexter doesn't know anything about children, especially not a baby, and goes on the biggest journey of his lifetime. From the stresses and strains of raising a child to the picture perfect moments, this book captures them all. Not only does having the baby change him as a person, it changes his everyday life too and he ditches the city to live in the countryside, which he considers as a much better and safer place to raise a child. And then he meets his new neighbour, Molly Hayes and the story gets even bigger than you'd imagine.
goodtoknow says:When we first caught a glimpse of the books cover you'd think that it would be your standard romantic novel, but we were wrong. A little slow at first, this book opened up a whole new view into the life of each character and we really felt for Dexter in the end. You'd think that this book would be truly predictable, but it ended up being a page turner, capturing our hearts and imagination (especially Dexter's relationship with niece, Delphi). We could definitely recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a casual and enjoyable read. It's perfect to take on holiday and read when you can on the beach or around the pool.
