Josie Gibson reveals excess skin after seven stone weight loss

The reality star opened up about her body on Loose Women

Former Big Brother star Josie Gibson has opened up about the side effects of extreme weight loss as she revealed her excess skin on Loose Women.

Speaking during Friday's episode of the ITV show, where she featured as a guest panellist, Josie, 31, explained, 'I’m going to show you something, I have been left with all this skin here. I can’t do anything about it and I worked so hard.’

Pulling up her cropped top to reveal the loose skin on her stomach, Josie pulled at her body, showing her fellow panellists the extent of the changes to her figure.

'I'm going to see a surgeon on Monday. I can't do anything about it. I've been to see so many consultants and the only thing they can do is cut it away,' she added.

'Part of me thinks, Josie, be happy with what you’ve got but the other part thinks, well you only live once you might as well have the body you want to have.'

Josie, who has shed seven stone and gone from a size 20 to a size 8, also admitted that she'd gone under the knife already, saying that she'd had a nipple lift after a doctor told her that 'they're everywhere, Jose!'

'They were like that,' she said, pointing her fingers in two different directions. 'They're a bit hairy in the middle... I went to a surgeon and he actually put it up. He straightened them out. I had a nipple lift.'

'I didn’t even know that was a thing!' fellow panellist Andrea McLean exclaimed.

Josie is looking slimmer than ever, but there are still areas she wants to work on

Viewers were quick to praise Josie for her honesty about her body, with one tweeting 'Please @loosewomen can you keep Josie Gibson @Josiestweet on your panel? Such a beautiful, honest, real Woman that we can all look up to'.

Another reached out to her directly, saying 'U look amazing! I've lost 7 stone myself and have a way to go and I totally sympathise the skin is the worst bit.'
