'Smiles!' Delighted Scarlett Moffatt shares a photo of 'new teeth'

She's been wanting to get them fixed since a bike accident, aged 15

Ex-Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has shared her excitement about receiving treatment to fix damage to her teeth, after waiting 11 years for the cosmetic procedure.

Despite her familiar smile being a regular sight on our screens - she's currently presenting Channel 4's Streetmate and has recently landed the role of host on I'm a Celeb's Extra Camp - Scarlett has never been happy with her teeth.

Aged 15, the star was knocked off her bike by a car and smashed her teeth, struggling with confidence issues for years afterwards and developing Bells Palsy as a result of the stress.

'The nerves had gone, so I had black teeth at the front,' she told The Sun. 'So I had black teeth as well as a monobrow, and I was a little bit chubby, and then half my face was on the slide.'

After the incident took place, Scarlett had temporary caps fitted to her teeth, but now the paper has reported she's undergone a permanent procedure, and has been able to share her journey to a gorgeous new set of gnashers with her 1.5 million followers.

Back in August she shared a snap to her Instagram story looking very excited indeed.

'I'm gonna cry finally in a month after 11 years after my accident i'll have new teeth!' she wrote, tagging @thewelbeckclinic, veneer experts in central London.

And now it looks as though Scarlett has finally had the procedure, as she posted a stunning selfie this week with notably whiter, brighter and straighter looking teeth.

'Smiles!' she's captioned the happy snap, and fans were quick to notice that it looks like she's certainly got something to smile about, with many saying that she looks gorgeous, and taking to the comments to compliment her.

'Well done Scarlett...I love your smile...#beautiful you are such a happy cheery young woman...#keepsmiling.🕊🌹' a second agreed.

A third added: 'Wow looking really good! Definitely doing something right babe. Getting more and more of a beaut.'
