What's Camp David about?

One of comedian David Walliams' life aims was to be liked. From his very early years as a child to his claim to fame in Little Britain, our well-loved joker has done it all to get the affection and love that he deserves. David grew up in Banstead in the 1970s and living with his parents and elder sister was tough, especially his school years. He never felt normal and found that the only way to be accepted was to make a fool of himself - which was something he was rather good at. From school plays to stage shows, David threw himself into the world of comedy head first and after all his hard work and determined mind-set he met the wonderful Matt Lucas and began his journey to the world of Little Britain and Simon Cowell.

From his highs in comedy to his lows in his childhood, this books takes a little while to warm up, but once you get going you won't be able to put it down and you'll leave with a little soft spot for David. We'd recommend this book to fans of David who can't get enough of his extremely camp humour and attitude to life. It would make a great birthday or Christmas present for friends and family and is an all-round good read.
