Seems we’re not the only ones who have to work out to stay in shape – celebrities have to get fit too! And it looks like the celebs have certainly been hitting the gym with gusto this month!
Whether enlisting a personal trainer, renewing their gym subscription, heading out for a run or just taking selfies of their beautiful bodies, they’ve taken Instagram by storm, posting pictures all over the place.
So who’s taking their keep fit mantra seriously?

There’s no denying that Ms McCall has one heck of an enviable figure. But before you think ‘There’s no way I could get a body like that without setting up home in the gym’, we have good news!
In this week’s Fit & Well, Davina exclusively reveals her regime is down to some very simple, and very achievable, diet and exercise rules – ones that we can all actually follow. Hurrah!
1. After you have kids, or if you’ve just let things go a bit, it’s the lower tummy muscles you need to target. The secret is to tilt your pelvis in. We do a move where you lie on the floor, with legs up at a right angle and knees ben, the small of your back pushed into the floor. Then you push your legs away while tilting hips towards you more. It’s killer!’
2. I watch my portion sizes as well as making sure everything’s healthy. If I’m out for lunch or dinner, I’ll avoid the starter and bread – if I got started on the bread I’d never stop!
3. Less than three times a week (exercising) is pointless. If you have too much time between your workouts, it’s just a waste. I’ve never forgotten that and so I make sure I do something three times a week, at least’

There’s no denying that Countdown presenter Rachel, 29, has an enviable figure. And now the star, who’s been dating Strictly Come Dancing professional champion Pasha Kovalev since September last year, has revealed she’s found a new way to tone up.
She’s taken up cycling and is in training for a 50km bike ride as part of her work with Breeze, a campaign to encourage women to get on their bikes. And she’s already noticed the benefits! Rachel also loves Zumba and she and Pasha still love to dance together?
‘Pasha’s brilliant at taking me dancing – we’ll go salsa dancing on holiday, for example. While he was on tour, we went out in Blackpool one evening and all the dancers were on the dance floor. It was such good fun.’
The leggy blonde also revealed she is learning to speak Russian. ‘I haven’t actually been over there yet, but Pasha’s mum came to see us recently. She doesn’t speak English so I’m trying to learn Russian – I’ve always loved a challenge!’

If we were a) on our holidays and b) the mum of twins who were only born in April, we have to say that working out would be the last thing on our mind – but that’s why we don’t look as amazing as Julia, who has found a rather novel way to shift the pregnancy pounds!
The 44-year-old TV presenter, who welcomed daughters Xanthe and Zena earlier this year, posted this cute snap of her and a friend on her Instagram account, along with the caption:

Pippa’s known for her fantastic physique (and one part in particular), and now we know the secret to her famously pert bottom – military fitness classes!
The younger Middleton sister first revealed her penchant for the sessions in 2014, referring to herself as a ‘military fitness obsessive’ in her Waitrose magazine column, and now she’s devised a whole 10 week fitness plan for the mag – and recommends the classes once again.
As you might imagine, military fitness training isn’t for the faint-hearted, involving a series of tricky muscle-targeting moves including squats, lunges and tuck jumps, but if you want a bum like Pip’s, they might just be worth the effort.

Believe it or not, this bendy lady is actually Britney Spears!
The 33-year-old star has been showing off her yoga skills in her latest Instagram snap, which she captioned: ‘Namaste’
Ms Spears is by no means a stranger to working out. Talking to Women’s Health earlier this year, she revealed how she keeps so trim! ‘Dancing is a great cardio workout,’ she said. ‘Tough and fun at the same time.’
‘I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time,’ she
explained. ‘I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio – usually running –
move on to light free weights, body-weight exercises such as push-ups,
squats, and sit-ups, then finish it off with a stretch.’
Looks like we can add yoga to the mum-of-two’s workout routine as well! We’re worn out just thinking about it…
If Jessica Alba, with her incredible figure after two kids, is sharing exercise secrets, then we want to know them! And we were pleasantly surprised to see that rather than opting for an incredibly confusing and expensive A-list fitness trend, the 34-year-old star tones her body with hot yoga sessions.
At around £9 for one session or £35 for a course of 10, hot yoga is a bargain when you consider the health benefits it offers. Not only will you be getting super stretchy and toned, but fans of the exercise believe you sweat out toxins as you go too.

Victoria’s got a secret that’s keeping her looking this trim – and the best thing about it? It’s only costs £10!
The mum-of-four told The Telegraph that she always packs a DYNA-BAND® – a type of elastic fitness resistance band – in her suitcase when she jets off on her hols to make sure she gets a good workout in, even when she’s not near a gym.
‘You?re going to be baring your arms. Sling this in your case and you can use it to tone your biceps, triceps wherever you are. It?s good for legs too,’ she said.
According to the brand’s website, the band originated in hospitals ‘for use in rehabilitation, to strengthen and repair muscles after injury’, but is now used for workouts too.
‘It’s simple and effective, providing resistance for your muscles to work against. You can exercise your hips, thighs, waist, arm and stomach muscles safely, with very little time or effort and see fabulous results fast,’ they say.
Sounds promising – and if it’s good enough for VB, it’s definitely good enough for us! Now, where did we put those sleeveless dresses?

The 47-year-old mum of three (yes, that tum has witnessed three kids and is just three years away from a 50th birthday!) made an appearance on This Morning and boy, talk about some fit-spiration!
The star, who has sold 8 million fitness DVDs since 2004, threw on her exercise gear to lead an outdoor workout session. Davina looked incredible as she worked through her intense, cellulite-busting 7 Minute Fit routine, including lunges, squats and leg raises. If these are the results we can expect from a fitness DVD, then we’re sold!
55-year-old TV presenter Lorraine has revealed the secret to keeping her figure slim and trim, and it’s none other than regular Zumba classes!
The daytime telly favourite attends classes up to four times a week, helping her drop two dress sizes from a 14 to a 10. And she’s looking better than ever! Lorraine shared this picture with her Twitter followers with the caption:
Zumba is a dance workout, combining Latin and international music, that’s great for all-over toning and fitness – with the average class costing about £5. It’s so refreshing to see one of our absolute favourite celebs keeping fit and healthy the right way – go Lorraine!
Carol, is that you?! We can’t believe how different the 54 year old looks in this picture (left) that she posted on Twitter – so much so that we didn’t even recognise her at first glance.
The star is looking more youthful than ever with her bright blonde locks and toned physique, which could be down to all the exercise she’s been doing. Carol also posted this snap (right) in her exercise gear, ready for a workout in Miami – where’s she’s been staying on holiday.

Brooke Shields looked fantastic as she proved that exercise can be fun when you’re on holiday – if you’re taking to the waves in Costa Rica, that is! Clad in a skintight top and shorts for a surfing lesson, her incredible figure was clear for all to see.
Brooke reportedly took up the watersport last year, and it looks like those hours on a board are certainly paying off!
Okay, so we’re not suggesting you start going surfing on a daily basis, but it might be a good way to burn off some excess holiday cals on your next trip away (although if your getaways are anything like ours, we don’t imagine Cornwall is as warm as Central America…)
It’s not all personal trainers and expensive gyms when you’re a celeb you know! Looks like Katie’s taking a bit of time away from her hectic life as mum to little Belle, 10 months, and busy TV schedule to do some at-home exercise. Not that she needs it! Although with a wedding on the horizon, the star was up early doing what appears to be skipping and weight training.

Michelle is certainly no stranger to exercise. The super-fit star, who’s a qualified personal trainer, took part in the London Triathlon, the largest triathlon in the world! The event saw the mum of two taking part in the gruelling race, which includes swimming, cycling and running, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
All that exercise and she still looks fab! Proud Michelle tweeted this snap with the caption:
There’s no denying that Helen Mirren looks good… sorry, wait… amazing for her age! At 68 the actress has confessed to being a yo-yo dieter in the past, always fluctuating by 10lb.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Helen explained she’s currently ‘at the top end of those 10lb and I have got to get back to the bottom end’. But how is she going to achieve this? It seems the star is a fan of the Royal Canadian Air Force exercise plan: ‘It is 12 minutes and they have charts you follow? Each day, you have to do the exercises within the 12 minutes and until you can, you can’t move up. It is the exercise I have done off and on my whole life. It just very gently gets you fit.’

Even when faced with the prospect of a hysterectomy, Michelle has been keeping up one of her biggest passions… exercise.
The 35-year-old star, who originally believed she would just have her ovaries removed, has since decided to undergo a full hysterectomy. She posted this snap to her Twitter page whilst out for a run in the sunshine. A qualified personal trainer, Michelle already underwent a double mastectomy when she was diagnosed with a mutated BRCA2 gene back in 2012. Her decision to opt for a hysterectomy hasn’t been easy, but one she made with her two children in mind.
She told Lorraine Kelly: ‘It is primarily for my family and I’m doing it because I don’t want to get ovarian cancer,’ she said. ‘I want to be there for my kids.’
No-one quite works killer curves like Miss Kelly Brook! The brunette bombshell is famous for her figure, and it’s easy to see why.
It’s a relief to see that her trim bod doesn’t come easy too – the star is often papped heading in and out of the gym in LA.

The 30 year old is no stranger to keeping extremely fit, and as well as wanting to be back in the charts with a bang after two years away from singing, another part of her strict schedule could be down to her return to the X Factor panel this year. We can’t wait to see you back on the panel Cheryl!
