How does the seasonal summer diet work?
It’s simple. During June, July and August you only eat foods that are in season. You can do just one month, all three or you could do one month on, one month off – ideal if you’ve got a summer holiday in the middle of the summer.
How much weight will I lose?
It all depends on many factors such as your height, age and starting weight but in one month you could lose at least half a stone. In three months you’d lose a minimum of one-and-a-half stone. If you exercise you could lose even more weight and tone up too.
Why you’ll love the seasonal summer diet
* There are no weird foods that you have to buy from a health food shop. Because it’s a diet based on what’s in season all the foods will be in your local supermarket.
* The meal plans are really varied so you won’t be bored.
* Eating in season is better for the environment and experts believe these foods have more nutrients when eaten in season.
* It’s credit crunch-friendly because British food is usually cheaper when it’s in season.
