I like pizza dough made with yeast, but if you are in a hurry you can make a very simple pizza dough the following way. Take three and a half cups of Self Raising flour, one and a half cups of hot water and half a cup of vegetable oil. Mix together to form dough, and roll out . Pre-cook for 10 minutes before adding topping of your choice.

We make our own pizzas. Dough takes about 1hr 45mins with rising time and kneading, but makes 2 pizza bases- one for dinner, ones for the freezer. We also make our own sauce- tin of tomatoes, onion, garlic, then any other veg I can hide in there- peppers, carrot, courgette. Liquidize and its done, will last for a few pizzas and can also be frozen. Then add cheese, I like cheddar and mozzarella, and thinly sliced chorizo. First one is time consuming, but then we have the dough/sauce for next week, which is perfect for those days when you get home from work and want something quick. Best bit, you know exactly whats in it!
