Feeling self conscious about your stomach? Some clever dressing is all you need - just a few additions to your wardrobe can make all the difference. We'll show you how to dress to hide a wobbly tummy!
Sadly we’re not all born with perfectly flat stomachs and toned abs, and for those of us with a little more to hold onto around the middle, dressing to flatter our figures can feel like a bit of a chore.
Fear not good people, we know how it feels and are here to give our very best tummy-trimming advice (no scalpel necessary). We’d love to hear your ideas too, so if you’ve got a top tip on how to make the most of your shape share it in the comment box below.

The right underwear
Control underwear can make a big difference to your shape – holding you
in, in all the right places. There are lots of options available
including Marks & Spencer’s fantastic shapewear range. With pretty yet practical control pants from just £7.50, it’s no surprise that these sell like hot cakes.

Blazers
Fitted blouses and jackets work well to hide a wobbly tummy and their
structure stops them from clinging. Try this blazer on sale for £24.50
from Dorothy Perkins.

Empire lines
An empire line dress or top, like this comfortable jersey dress by Joanna Hope, available at JD Williams for £55, will skim over the stomach and draw attention to the bust instead.

Minimal trousers
When you’re buying trousers, go for ones that have little or no detail
around the waist. Too much detail will draw attention to your stomach.
Try these lovely tapered formal trousers, £14 from George at Asda.

Wrap dresses
Wrap dresses are very flattering on most figures! They won’t cling in the wrong places and a patterned one will draw the eye away from any lumps and bumps. This one is £35 from ASOS.
