Lisa's mum Cath had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000, but the cancer spread to her ovaries and her pelvis, and she sadly passed away in 2012.

At the time, Lisa recalled to the Sunday Mirror: 'She died in my arms. She was at my house. The entire family was there and we laughed together on the morning that she passed away. That was Mum. It was wonderful. She had dignity. She was fun and smiles to the very, very end.'

After reading her touching post, fans have rushed to send Lisa messages of love and support to help her through the occasion, with one writing: 'Lovely words about your mum, how proud would she be to see what you have achieved now, chin up Lisa you've got the memories x'

'Absolutely beautiful words and made me cry - this is exactly how I feel about my mum who I lost 2 years ago!' another agreed. 'They made us the amazing strong women we are today and I'll forever be grateful and always have a piece of my heart missing! 💛💛'
